Lauren Eggert is a licensed architect with experience working on a wide variety of projects in every design phase. Before joining Chiang | O’Brien, Lauren practiced at high-profile firms in New York City, where she worked on private residential projects, mixed-use residential and office towers, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, an agricultural education center for The Campaign Against Hunger, and a conference center for Harvard University.
She was drawn to Chiang | O’Brien for their work with higher education clients, who make excellent partners in the collaborative design process because of their heightened interest in their projects’ overall impacts and narratives. She appreciates Chiang | O’Brien’s approach to adaptive reuse, restoration, and additions as a sustainable means to create appropriate and forward-thinking architecture with respect for the past and resourcefulness with the existing context.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and History of Art and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University. She is a registered architect in New York State.
