Austin approaches design as an advocate for inclusive, client-driven solutions that balance the needs and interests of a variety of stakeholders. He values architecture that works to benefit the end-user as well as the broader community in which it is situated—striving to do so in a manner that is both sustainable and culturally significant.
Austin holds a Master of Architecture degree from North Carolina State University with a certificate in Public Interest Design as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Sciences from Appalachian State University – graduating with honors and an award for Design Achievement and Excellence.
