Co-founder and President of Chiang | O’Brien Architects, Grace Chiang has focused her professional career on serving clients in higher education, healthcare, and community service organizations. Prior to launching Chiang | O’Brien Architects, Grace was President and Director of Design at HOLT Architects, where she had been a principal for more than 20 years. Grace’s style is one of total immersion into the institutional culture of the client organization, resulting in projects that are responsive to both the client’s vision and to the historical and architectural context.
Grace holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University. She is a Licensed Architect in New York, and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Grace is an active participant as a member of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Agency of Tompkins County, the Tompkins County Development Corporation and the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce.
